The 2026 Region 2 Lenten Challenge supports ELCA World Hunger, a ministry of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America.
The challenge? Raise $100,000 across all five synods in Region 2 during Lent.
Matthew 25 emphasizes that caring for the poor, sick and marginalized is an act of service to Christ. We are called by God to care for our neighbors, and ELCA World Hunger is one of the ways our church answers that call. From health clinics to microloans, water wells to farm animals, community meals to advocacy, your gifts to ELCA World Hunger support sustainable solutions that get at the root causes of hunger and poverty.
