On Mar. 18, the Gaza Health Ministry reported more than 400 casualties – of which more than 130 were children – due to heavy Israeli government airstrikes that unilaterally ended the agreed-upon ceasefire deal made in January of this year.

The White House has stated repeatedly their intentions to end wars and support stability in the Middle East and to use federal taxpayer money first and foremost to help Americans in the U.S. Instead, U.S. taxpayer funds continue to flow to Israel’s offensive in the Gaza strip. This war is killing and injuring Gazan children. The Mar. 18 military attack, in addition to over two weeks of the ongoing humanitarian aid blockade the Israeli government imposed on Gaza, will cost the lives of Gazan civilians, risk the lives and freedom of the Israeli hostages, and degrade the path towards peace, safety and security for all in the region.
As Christians we can use our voices as peacemakers and urge the U.S. government on that path. Customize the message below to express support for efforts toward a sustainable peace that uses diplomacy and dialogue, not violence, as the language of reconciliation. Continuous bombing of an already displaced and traumatized population using taxpayer money is not a sustainable peacemaking method. We can urge diplomatic and reconciliation-based efforts to enforce adherence to international law and ensure a safe future for all people of the Holy Land.
